"MUSIC SAYS THE WORDS YOU'RE TOO AFRAID TO SAY OUT LOUD"
Rebecca Lane is a 22 year old Irish singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist, originally from Dublin but moved to France at the age of 6. Coming from a musical family it was no surprise that Rebecca started performing at a very young age. It was her love of music that guided her educational path, exposing her to numerous genres of music (pop, rock, jazz, classical), culminating in obtaining a Jazz degree from Toulouse University.
From the age of 11, while most teenagers were out and about, Rebecca was dedicating herself to her music, learning multiple instruments, discovering the art of songwriting, music production and working with multiple producers to help her to express herself through her storytelling. Over the years Rebecca has perfected her stagecraft having frontlined with a variety of choirs, groups and orchestras, performed as a solo artist as well as forming a duo with her sister (@liminalitymusic) to audiences of up to 20 000 people.
Writing and releasing a charity single “Ishca” for the Kevin Richardson Foundation in 2019, which has racked up hundreds of thousands of streams to date, Rebecca has now recently released her 2nd single “Anything” with her sister, performing it at multiple gigs in Ireland this summer.
From the very first note, Rebecca has the room eating out of the palm of her hand. Her powerful yet emotional vocals never fail to entrance her audience.
Her degree obtained, Rebecca is now dedicating 100% of her time to her music, taking her songwriting to the next level, working closely with Greig Watts from DWB. She continues to travel regularly to Ireland, embracing the opportunity to spend more time in her homeland.
